CONCEPT

Product architecture is defined by combining structural, production, ergonomic, style, and cost constraints. Rather than creating a ‘stylish box that contains mechanics’, design ‘styles the mechanics’ and avoids element redundancies.

Preliminary sketches

Whether it’s a coffee machine, the suspension kinematics of a four-wheeled motorcycle, the structure of an electric quadricycle, or a bricks model, everything starts with freehand sketches to visualise the creation of new concepts.

From a ballpoint pen during a meeting with development teams to more elaborate sketches coloured with markers or the graphic tablet.
