In the diorama, the passenger is on the lift (powered by a Watt steam engine) that will raise her to the platform on the bridge, where she will take place in the railcar while the crew of mechanics finish servicing the huge machine. The retro-futurist vehicle is carrying passengers at high speed thanks to its innovative transmission: On the upper part of the railcar, a valve gear mechanism activates wheels that spins the giant circular cogwheel. On the bottom, the mechanism is geared to the main wheel which is linked to the other 4 axles.
